Olympic Games... do I still have a chance?
So the World Championships are done and dusted. On the 10th of October our fate was decided and unfortunately the Australian Team didn't make it through to the next round of Olympic Qualification. This meant that the only way to qualify was as an individual. This could have been done by winning any individual medal at the 2011 World Championships on any apparatus or compete at the London Prepares Series (Olympic Test Event) in January as an all arounder.
Our number one man, Prashanth Sellathurai was the only male Australian to make an apparatus final. Unfortunately, he didn't make it through his routine and therefore didn't qualify as an individualist to the Olympic Games. This means that only one all arounder can qualify to the Games to be held next July.
